Boarding life
Boarding life is at the heart of folk high school life. Here, you share everyday life with students from different study programmes, giving you the opportunity to get to know people outside your own class as well. This is where relationships are built, lifelong friendships are formed, and we learn how to live together.

Living on campus
The dormitories mostly have double rooms, but there are also some single rooms. Your room is a place where you can withdraw, relax, and have good conversations.
Every week, everyone in the dormitory gathers to talk about how we can live together in the best possible way, as well as other topics that help us feel safer and more comfortable with each other. We also set aside time for cleaning the dormitory, both individual rooms and shared common areas.

Food at folk high school
As a student here, all your meals are included. The kitchen serves good, varied and nutritious food. We make most of our food from scratch, and we are proud to say that we prepare our own meals as well as bake our own bread, buns and cakes.
As much as possible, we make seasonal food and preferably with local ingredients. The menu ranges from traditional dishes to more modern dishes and fast food, often with input from students.
The chefs aim for the meal to be experienced as the highlight of the day. We naturally accommodate allergies and other various considerations.
