School Events
Weekends at the folk high school can be just as busy as weekdays. We usually have classes during the day, and most Saturday evenings feature fun events where all students participate
Student Evenings
Two to three times a month we have student evenings. One of the programs organizes a party evening for the rest of the school. Student evenings include entertainment from the stage, good food, often games and competitions, and there can be themed evenings like Latin American night, 80s party, Irish evening, revue, dance, theater, song and music. This is where you can come up with great ideas.
At New Year’s, the student council usually leads a New Year’s ball.
Joint Project - Musical
Producing a musical is an annual tradition where we set aside a two-week period when the regular schedule gives way, and all students and staff work on a joint project.
After an intense period of rehearsing song, dance, music and text, producing costumes and sets, it all culminates in a musical that is performed for friends, family and other schools.
